How do I find a citation in a library database?
Answer
Most databases offer a variety of citation styles for their materials. When searching for a citation, look for options like 'Citation', 'Cite', or 'Send to'. It's crucial to remember that these citations are computer-generated and should always be verified for accuracy. Here are the steps to locate the citation in our most popular databases.
EBSCO Database:
- Select the three-dot icon to the right of the item's title.
- Select Cite
- Scroll till you find your chosen style and copy and paste it into your document.
Gale Databases:
- Select the title of the item.
- Click "Cite" in the toolbar on the top right-hand side of the screen.
- Select the citation type from the header.
- Press "Select," then copy the citation.
- Paste to your document.
