How do I locate electronic books?
Answer
What is an Electronic Book?
An electronic book, also known as an eBook, is an electronic version of a printed book. It is usually read on a hardware device (such as a Kindle or Nook). Personal computers and some cell phones can also be used to read ebooks. Some of the electronic book collections are searchable in the library's catalog.
How do I Locate eBooks in the Library's Catalog?
You can search for electronic books in the library's catalog using the following steps:
1. Begin your search on the library's homepage using the search box and select "Books and Films" in the drop down window (as seen below).
2. Refine your search to include items that are "Available Online" using the toolbar on the left side of the results screen. Select "Refine Results" in the green button.
3. Select the title you are interested in and click on "Available Online" to read.
Electronic Book Databases
McKee Library subscribes to numerous electronic book databases, some of which are not available in the library's catalog. To view all of the available eBook databases, please visit the website linked below.
