Q. How do I access materials available in the periodical's department?

Answer

The Periodical Department houses more than 2,200 titles from all disciplines, of which more than 800 are current. There are more than 40,000 titles available electronically through the different databases, as well as books in microform. The department is located on the main floor of the library to the right of the entrance.

Searching Periodicals

To search for materials available in print or electronically, please click the "Articles" tab on the library's website. There you can find a journal by a specific title, find a database with articles in your field, search the Journal/Magazine locator, view Adventist Online Periodicals, and browse all McKee Library databases.

Circulation of Periodical Materials

Print materials available in the periodicals department are not available for check-out. You are able to make digital scans or photocopies of selected materials using the McKee Library copiers or scanners. For more information, please visit the Photocopying and Printing webpage. Many items are available electronically for direct download.

For Help

For help with periodicals, please visit the periodical's desk, or call the circulation desk at 423.236.2788.
